Artist in Action: Hope Hanes

Join us in the Tasting Room today to meet artist Hope Hanes and watch her creating art during our Artist In Action afternoon. No formal presentation is planned, but Hope is available to talk about her techniques and inspiration as she works on a piece in progress.

Hope works in both pastels and felted wool and her beautiful pieces are on display through January 31 in our current art show, Textures of Provence.  This solo show features works inspired by Hope’s recent trip to the south of France. Working in soft pastels, felted wool and ink pens, she captures the rugged landscapes of Provence, from fragrant lavender fields to coastal cliffs shimmering in the summer heat.
